Time to ride! Finally, the snow is gone, the temperatures are rising, and you are jonesing for the open road.

Before you head out did you renew your motorcycle insurance policy, or did you forget after the long winter months? If you have a new bike did you buy the required insurance? Yes you read that correctly in Pennsylvania you are required by law to carry at least $15,000 of bodily injury for one person in an accident, $30.000 of bodily injury for more than one person in an accident, and $5,000 of property damage protection for a single accident.

The above are just the minimums, which won’t go far if you are in accident; always call your insurance agent to go over the coverage’s available and to get a professionals recommendations before making any decision and of course before hitting the open road.
